About the Speaker

Amanda is passionate about supporting ethically-conscious leaders in building thriving, values-centric businesses. Founder of Ethica Legal Counsel, she serves as an outsourced General Counsel to principles, early and mid-stage companies, socially conscious businesses and nonprofits to support them through the legal complexities of growing a mission-focused company, such as entity election/formation, risk management, contract drafting and negotiations, and labor and employment issues.

Prior to founding Ethica Legal Counsel, Amanda was a public interest civil litigator, a human rights advocate in Mexico and Costa Rica, and a legislative aide in the California State Assembly. Amanda received her J.D. from the UCLA, with a certificate in Public Interest Law and Policy, and her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
