Venturing into Venture : Women VC and Female Founder Fund

  • 333 Market Street San Francisco, CA, 94105 United States (map)

Women founders struggle every day to get funded.

- Only 2.2% venture capital is deployed to all female founding teams or startup with solo female founder[i].

- Women-run startups generated 78 cents in revenue for every dollar raised, compared to 31 cents for men according to Boston Consulting group[ii].

- Woman co-founder teams performed 63% better than all-male teams, as measured by First Round Capital [iii].

- Women make up only 7% of the venture capital and private equity workforce

Many studies have shown women-run companies have generated great return for investors.
